worship with us!
Memory Verse
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord (1 Thessalonians 4:16–17).
Commentary
The Thessalonians feared that believers who already died would not be resurrected until much later (i.e., until after the Millennium). Paul says “no” because, at the Rapture, “…the dead in Christ will rise first…” The dead in Christ will be resurrected immediately before we who are alive. Amazing events to encourage us as we wait for Christ’s return!

Memory Verse
For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps (1 Peter 2:21).
Commentary
In verse 21, Peter next explains why we should have a good attitude when we suffer. First, it is something God has called us to as His believing children. Patient suffering is a part of the
spiritual world into which Christians are born when they are born again! Second, Jesus’ experience serves as an example to be imitated by Christians. Christ’s suffering is the model on how to respond to injustice.

Easter Sunday Invitations
Just a reminder to invite your friends, co-workers, or family members to our Easter service next Sunday at 10:30 AM! People all around us are often much more inclined to accept an invitation to church on a special occasion like Easter. Think about who you might invite and then do just that!
